Experience:

Since September 2006, I have been working as a Fine Arts teacher for Anacortes High School .  To learn more about this program click here

 

Since September 1996, have been employed as the Art Specialist & Librarian for Mt. Erie Elementary School by the Anacortes School District

 

Employed by Skagit County Parks and Recreation Best S.E.L.F program for eight of the last ten years. Three of those years I was employed as the Art Specialist.

Since February 1993, worked continuously for the Anacortes Youth Arts program as a teacher in fine art and crafts for grades K-adult, and served on the board of directors for two years.

 

In January 1993, worked approximately four years for the Anacortes school District to develop and advise the Art Club for students at the High School.

 


From September 1996 to June 2006, I was employed by the Anacortes School District as an Elementary School Librarian.  During this time, I tried to develop an exceptional library media curriculum for our school district.  I developed clear objectives for the students and I created fun activities to engage them, teach them, and assess them.

I have also presented my ideas at Follett’s automation conferences and at national technology conferences for educators.


 

Technology Experience:

Considerable work in HTML internet programming language.

Working knowledge of JAVA internet programming language.

Successfully completed beginning course in C++ programming language.

Completed 32 hours of Marcraft A+ certification classes.

Designed, developed, published and maintain numerous local websites.
